attached is a raw, unfiltered pella of an original lyric…”Zero”.
Existential observations rendered in a lounge-jazzesque quasi operatic art song. Lyrics: Isims marry and divorce… Electroshocked Grammatists recoil… Encyclopedic satellites whirl past, Through waves of man made matter – walls of glass… Pascal and Pythagoras implode The weight of all those allegories (so I’m told) Before the ruins and re-ruins, judgment’s doled… For some lousy silver pieces we are sold. Our sentimental airs have come to naught… So crestfallen we stand, lost what we sought. Post punctuation, period piece, fini… Mock our existential terrors with ennui. Their tongues of Babel Language interbred… Sons & Lovers, Fathers, Mothers Hungry and unfed. We wipe the slate clean, just so And it leaves us dangling… partial…zero…………….. leaves us dangling… partial…zero………zero………………………..
