Black to the Night (1000 Ways Mix)

I had a great time remixing Scomber; he truly is a terrific songwriter.
While I was prepared to go deep into the archive (Scomber has 582 pages of content that he has shared at ccMixter!), I landed on Black to the Night early in my research of his catalog. The existential longing of the lyric resonated. The song itself was a journey; starting out as a tribal EDM track. This is where it ended up. Thanks Scomber for being such a swell ccMixter citizen! Source material includes recording of the Kepler Star from NASA, as well as crickets and a whale from freesound. I’ll upload vocals and bass stems uploaded separately.
