For thousands of years the human animal has strived to advance itself and in doing so has taken itself down a path that may one day lead to its possible annihilation. Most of the damage has been done in the last two hundred years as we raced forward oblivious to the repercussions of our actions and slowly started to destroy the very planet that gave us our existence. Now as the consequences of our actions start to impact our lives we find ourselves scrambling to find a way to slow down all the adverse effects of our interference with a force so much greater than ourselves.

As someone who has lived through so many changes it is sad to see that despite all the wonderful things we have discovered we are still struggling to find true happiness and peace of mind and the feeling of true security that goes with it. With all our problems we now find the world is being led by men and women whose values at best are dubious and whose personal integrity does not bear the light of close scrutiny.
