The leaving of the angel
We found them in places that would always remain special. They were bright and beautiful and their radiance fell over us. We were smitten and foolish swearing life long allegiance and offering promises of eternal love. But then one day we woke and looked at the tattered wings and the heavy skin and we were confused. The- light had gone and we ached to follow others who would offer us the magic potion. Once they were angels but we crushed them with our ingratitude and believing in our own rightousness moved on to others who were now the only light we craved. Once we would come together to be one but now we were just victims of our sad inhumanity. Panu’s music comes from a place deep within the soul and climbs through the musical ages in a style of its own. I love the guitars but most of all it’s the voice that stirs me. The phrasing the intonation and of course the words themselves. I have taken his gift and laid it on a bed of angels for all the angels who bravely stay with us as we march towards the light
