Built this ‘round Neurowaxx’s mighty fine drums, with the intent of adding vocals. I still intend to, but I thought I’d throw this raw instrumental track out to the community. The title is a throw away that I may or may not use in my vocal version. It comes from “Paradise Lost”, near the first of the poem, where Satan breaks his chains and emerges from the lake of fire….flies ‘round a bit and touches the soil of Hell with his “unblest foot”.
The prominence of the guitar in the first half is due to the constructive criticism of Subliminal; who can sometimes consider my guitar mix too modest. This is for you Sub. The gtr pans in the first few bars to make way for the presumptive vocal. ummmmm…what else….oh yes; the last half is composed entirely of bass guitar noises.
