My first male pella to ccmixter has been troublesome. I was wrong in the mic gain so it was recorded to digital very low. I had to apply a + 30 dB gain with a lot of noise floor. Then I used too much denoiser and too much expander to remove the hiss and it sounds as if it were made of a lot of small different recordings. I hope music can overwhelm these defects. To sing, I recorded a sample piano, I give it as a harmonic reference, as well as the two together in context. I’d better re-record the vocals to give them a second chance, but time is over for submissions.
