As some of you know, I’ve been experimenting with generative AI which, as nice as they turned out, destroyed my DAW with an incompatibility issue.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered my Secret Mixter was Carosone, and he was experimenting with a different type of AI, a synthesizer voice VSTi (his song “Spirit is unbounded” is quite lovely). I tried the demo, loved it and bought it! https://store.dreamtonics.com/product/editor-svstudio-pro/

Going through Carosone’s library, I discovered his acapella Being, and his words moved me. I decided to honour his words using an AI voice melody overlaying my backing track.

The time it took from start to finish took the entire three weeks, very close to the deadline. Most of that time was developing the melody then tweaking it just so. Lots of tweaking!

I added my own Bridge to compliment his words and the song. I hope you all love this song as much as I do!
