He smiled as he stared out at the horizon. The waves crashed in small cascades against round rocks. A mist obscured the distance, but the gulls could be heard calling.

“We’re so lucky to have this view when we record”, he said, feeling like a character in a very happy movie.

“Yes,”, she replied, choosing a drumstick. “A bechfront studio. When I was 17, I’d have thought I died and went to heaven”.

Then the bassist arrived, and they
recorded while the waves crashed and the marine layer made the morning April-cool.

This is a very nice mix, in which you put across a rock ballad that fits well with the vocals.

This one kind of burst over me in the best possible way and is as satisfying as masticating really crumbly fudge between your back teeth (yes, I’ve been on the Disprin again). A really, really terrific track, Paul. xxxx (What’s the weather like where you are? It’s disappointing in Raynes Park.)

Thanks Ciggi,

The weather it’s about 19C cloudy but bright and it’s not raining so for Wales I suppose that’s good.

a very good, stage ready track, sir. the slightly overdriven guitar is perfect against Tom’s fine voice. and, hey, i gotta say you’ve got the best cymbal decay in the biz!

This is like a long lost Rolling Stones tune. Ambling, rough edged, and yet pretty and musical. :)

Mmmmm….Power pop. I’m thinking Alex Chilton and Big Star would be envious. Lovely

Fantastic! Really tight — sounds like the entire band had been on the road awhile and could not only finish each other’s sentences, but finish each other’s beers as well!
