LOVE that bass!

Slow beats are greatly underrated :)

yup love that bass too. it is the key instrument i decided to rely on in this tune.

the bass guitar was an american Fender Precision Bass i bought new in 2009.

Impressive arrangements. I agree, excellent bass. Sound and production 10. I like a lot. Crimson, Levin, prog jazz

thanks man! actually, my reference of inspiration for this was some stuff from Betty Davis.

you mean Tony Levin and King Crimson? i will be checking out what they do, sound interesting.

Fantastic! Love the slinky bass punctuated by the EP. Any chance of posting the instrumental, I would love to swing the hips (when no one is watching of course) and croon something in a lower register.
I agree with the others; love those slow beats.
So cool!!!

uhh sorry for this delay, i just added the instrumental version of this remix to the files pool.

and why don’t you “croon” something new in a blues square progression? that kind of progression usually works for this kind of funky stuff i usually like to do. Because this one from Anji is in a blues square with some custom variations, i went into something alternative because i got inspired by some other stuff..

let me know

Love the whole vibe of course, but yeah- that bass against the EP is damn sexy. Any chance for some sample uploads (hint, hint)? …pretty please?

It is no secret that i adore your work and skills. It seems that your tracks get more and more authentic and sound quality is awesome. What a funky and as already mentioned, progressive jazz track.
