Taking some time off to merge my old analog studio equipment with my current digital studio (moving and connecting rack mounted synths, effects and samplers). Planning to upgrade to an i7 2600k system running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit over the next weeks. My 2003 vintage PC running Windows XP ran out of resources and has been sputtering trying to the drive the latest software. Hope to be back up to speed in a month or two. |

Initial research indicates the major software components are 64 bit enabled and run on Win 7. The audio software provides a 64 bit wrapper for plugins about which I know zero.
Expect frustration will visit. Hope it does not move in. |

This is really great. There’s more than a trace of Ry Cooder to this, and its brimming to the lid with a laid back rootsy energy that’s pretty damn infectious.
