Nice juxtaposition of the two elements. I like the way you chopped up my track. A suggestion on the mix would be to add a little compression on the vocals, then send both elements into a single stereo mix bus again with compression. This would allow the vocals to ‘sit’ better in the mix rather than on top. Overall, great work!
