What a kick-ass mix. I apologize for my use of colourful metaphor but that is just one, aggressive, immaculately designed bad mutha of a mix :) Bonus points for bringing out the very much tongue-in-cheek ‘because I am a sensitive man’ :) I think the only thing I don’t hear in the mix is some screaming… Oh, nevermind I just hear them :) Well done!
Cheers!

postscript: I had to edit my post… May you have the happiest birthday week possible and may the most wonderful sounds grace your ears on this momentous occasion:)
Cheers!

Happy birthday, Speck! I like everything you do and you had a big impact on me. Alltough nobody may notice. But these really rough harmonies, these abstract steel thunderstorms that I can´t understand nor feel: I love them. They are and will be speckisms for me - a word that also sounds in german very nice, since speck means bacon and that goes well with the juiciness of abstraction. This remix is a big and fancy birthday cake with lots of speckisms. Thanks for including me and serving. Yummy!

I second Atom on the influence and celebration of your birthday. Look forward to plenty more baconisms!

There’s nothing like lots of sax overtop of an atonal racket. Gives it a veneer of jazz and a dash of tonality. :)

Let all that atonal racket out of your soul, Speck! Phew. We all have it lurking inside us but you are the best at communicating it. KungFu’s words fit so well it’s like a collaboration!!

Yes. I would like to be in a room with this happening live… instead of theater in the round, it could be chaotic jazz in the round. You did an excellent job placing and effecting KungFu’s vox… very… effective.

Exactly the kind of music I listen to. This puts me in my mind of some of the best electronic jazz I know..

Thanks for the tip. Around for 15+ years and I’ve never heard it. (Shows you how out of touch I am.) I may have to take a trip to the iTunes store to get me some, and I haven’t been there since I ‘discovered’ Amon Tobin a couple years ago.
