You sing this beautifully and with such feeling. It starts with that lightly dusted quality you have to your voice and then emerges into a focused sound that is clear and emotional. No one can take that unique voice away from you!

March is over soon. I’m hoping that April brings brighter, better times.

Well, this makes me wanna give you a really big hug (and makes me teary-eyed). You’re such a source of hope, Em. You touch the lives of so many… with your music… with your vision… with your hope. And geez, I just love your voice… and this is so beautifully written and expressed.

A very beautiful song. A song by a soul that never seems to lose hope, no matter what it is facing…. this inspires me.

You are truly kind Richard, and I would say, you recognize it in me because you have so much hope yourself! Please take care of those ears….

WOW. I’ve been listening to this over and over… simple, honest, intimate and soulful.

Makes me wish I could make you a big plate of whatever your favorite comfort food is, though.

Emily, you have a unique way of interpreting, then transforming your experience into something beautiful, intimate and authentic. Your music is not only an invitation to listen, but an invitation to get to know you better too. You are a courageous artist. And I’m sorry your soul is going through growing pains — wouldn’t it be great to grow without any ache whatsoever? Hugs.

thank you susan - your encouragement and insightful perception buoys me up. i am learning a lot and so far April is a little kinder than March — those growing pains are evolving but yea, it would be nice to transform without the ache ;)
