Have to admit I wasn’t sure at first where you were going with this, but then the vocals hit and everything seemed to click perfectly from that point on.

By which I think I mean:

yeah, me either. set up the whole track with duckett’s wobble bass and drums, then filled it in. there’s about four to six different tracks of that one sample. left the beginning sort of open for build up and to have a minimal section.

This grows on me each time I play it. Could be part of a movie soundtrack - some twisty, paranoid urban thriller.

Thanks for using the sample- really comes together with the tonal differences of the woodwinds and vox kicking in.

The vocals could be a little louder in the mix but oh my what a mix. It’s always “pretty fun” to hear whatever you have to offer.

yeah, i noticed that too. although i do kind of enjoy the effect of it - how it makes you listen harder, like squinting with your ears. thanks a lot speck!
