Listening to one of your remixes always brings a big fat grin to my face. Good to have you stop in! The half time feel is a real surprise after the intro and a quick peek at the 130 BPM designation. But does it ever work splendedly! (Did I say just splendidly? I’m not even Bri’ish!)

p.s. on my speaker the vocals are rather far out front - is that a creative decision or mixing ear fatigue?

Hi Spin, Thanks for listening. 130 is what it was tracked at, but technically yeah its half speed (65). On the vocals front, could be my naff setup, I’ve taken them down a touch and uploaded an update. Cheers.

ps - I was on the booze during this one ;-)

And hey yourself. Good to see you again. :)

The drum beat was absolutely the right call - lets the synths do their job providing rhythmic variation. Very nice.

I love the build-up in this one - happens gradually introducing new elements bit by bit and scaling back - and then when the refrain hits the second time it just all fits together so beautifully.

Yeah - I like this a lot.

I’ve been listening and listening and listening this morning and was pretty much at the point where I was about to take a break because my ears were tired — but this perked my ears right up with its sonic goodness and terrific feel! Thanks.

You might not have the time to do the things you love, Scott, but when you do get to do them - well, outstanding mix. Worth the wait for something this good. Never mind the width, feel the quality!! xxxx

yeah , .. this track is hard! , .. the music keeps the vocals company , like a shoulder to cry on ,.. allowing the vocalist to render his emotion ,.. that’s dopeness, props!
