Fast work for a sLow starteR!!! Well now, you’ve got such a great voice that I don’t really mind what you sing, but this is great and fits well with the GTR. You got such a fluid, tuneful style, it’s a real pleasure to listen. Would like to hear your voice stronger in the mix, so the GTR is just supporting, but that’s a minor issue. Main thing is you added some musical sunshine—many thanks indeed! Add the stems and this will be picked up in no time! Cheers!

thanks Javolenus! I liked your jangly guitar work
mixed loud, my reasoning was that
it was like the wine I was “steeped in”, although your guitar is finer than that vintage!—can’t admit how autobiographical some of these lyrics are
but they often appear unannounced with the right set of circumstances & a great instrumental.

Just listened to this again in the cans and really enjoyed it. Your voice sounds amazingly good. Thanks for using my GTR — everything hangs together well.

Reminded me of Paul McCartney’s first album after he left the Fab Four.

The vocal fits really well with the Guitar but I agree with Javolenus that the vox needs taking up a bit but if you’re happy with it as you said who cares!!.

Nice one!!

thanks a lot Radiotimes, i haven’t heard alot of Paul’s solo stuff except Band on the Run, will check that out—is that the one w/ the rose? yes, I see you guys are right about the mix!! thanks again :)

After listening to a lot of your work, I came to he same Paul McCartney conclusion before seeing the comment by radiotimes. Nice work. Maybe some nice Paul-like bass lines to add to it.

Great track. Solid lyrics and delivery. The vocals may not need to be made louder I think the guitar can just be panned to sides of the track and that should leave enough room for the vocals straight down the middle. I would also love the stems to that track I see lots of possibility in there :)

That’s a good idea re. panning. And also adding stems. Great remixes are waiting to happen!

Thanks, KungFu!! hey, that’s a great idea, & if we mirrored the pan w/ a slight delay that would be a little like the ADT effect Javolenus, Wired Ant & I were discussing recently in a thread….
