Angst just as I like it — raw and poetic! Wonderful use of Pitx’ track to bounce off of to develop your own haunting melody!

Thank you. Isn’t Pitx great! This one has been sitting on my computer for quite a while. Mainly because, I wasn’t liking the delivery. It really needs an angrier sounds vocalist…like Alanis. But what can you do:-)

PS - I’ve just sent you three songs for your consideration :-) Let me know if you don’t get the e-mail. Cheers, n9

This is classic narva9 - an innocent seeming form, almost like an old folk ballad, but with real personal power and depth. And a great choice of backing. I love it.

Pitx’s piece was so wonderful and easy to write to. It came together like a charm.
Thank you. n9

Oh this is class, Narva, in every possible way. Pitx’s backing track perfectly complements the dark, clever words and your delivery. (Will recommend when I find a different pc.)

Thank you. :-) It’s all Pitx!

As for the “recommends” no worries. I have the same problem as you. I share an internet line with teru. We have a deal. He recommends, I review :-) It minimizes the confusion of who’s already listen to what.

now that you & Pitx have returned after long hiatus it’s as if something much missed has come home. though the songs be sad, that they are done as beautifully as this brings inner joy & calmness. i really like this!

I’m glad you liked it, P. I was trying to channel my inner Alanis… I think I got the words right but still have to work on delivery.

Thanks for listening:-)

I like it. Enchanting melody and words, pitx guitar is classical but this song has something odd and beautiful that goes beyond. A big welcome back!

Hi C,
Thank you for your kind words and for the welcome back. Although, I hadn’t realized that I’d been away:-) I guess I was mostly just lurking around in the back. Will try to be more front and center from now on!

Cheers, n9

ok, well, you totally rock. This is just awesome. I’m assuming the pell is here/coming (?) I mean it’s just great - and I like the mix itself.

Like I just said to Ciggi, I’m floored by how you guys take existing material here and wrap a song around it. It’s just a masterful (and totally unexpected) use of the site.

Thanks Victor,
I’m blown away by your comment and so happy you liked the song.
Mixter has some amazing instrumentals. How can you not want to write words for them? :-)

PS - will upload the raw vocals as soon as I can.

I think I had a relationship with that same black-hearted bastard. Haunting. Thrilling. And like Emmy Lou Harris said in “I Don’t Want to Talk About it Now,” “If I got out of the mouth of hell, I’d walk right back again …”

I think we’ve all been with the bastard. He seems to get around a lot. Not sure why we fall for him though, maybe it’s a right of passage into womanhood.

:-) Thanks for listening! -n9

I love Pitx too, and here all those swirling washy sounds. Really really great mix N9. Brilliant ragey lyrics too.

This sounds like a mother sings her little baby into sleep. Lovely and warm. I don_t know if this is the right term for your voice, but for me it sounds like innocence.

Beautiful!
