The quick-hit strings Art-of-Noise-ish melodic thing isn’t quite my cup of tea, as it comes off a bit harsh and yet not harsh enough, if you see what I mean.

The percussion and the vocals seem to go well together. The backing strings are too far down for my taste.

Not a bad mix, at all—I’d like to hear the backing strings pulled up and the abrupt melodic theme either made harder and more rocky or softer and more integrated.
