Rich and warm, with lots of golden voices, lazy guitars, and volume swelling late summer sounds, backed by an easy beat.

Wow. Using TEN of Colin’s songs to make an integral whole is as much a testimony to your production ability as it to Colin’s talent James!

This is an amazing composition! Really great work — I have always really likes your musical sensibility and it is totally at play here with groove and grace. Bravissimo!

I do note that, in my headphones at least, I heard some distortion on the low end (I heard it when the bass and drums kicked in).

Thanks Susan- what you’re hearing is intentional, introduced saturation/grit/imperfection.. I was looking for a sort of “found-tape”-iness, a bit of crunch and ephemerality, as it were..

Quite amazing how you’ve created something so beautiful from so many individual stems - almost Roxy-Music-ish in style. Soothingly speaks straight to the Soul. i really love this Duckett!

Thanks Emily- I was pretty happy with how this turned out, even if pretty short and underwhelming arrangement-wise.. very pleased that you’re pleased too :)

This isnĀ“t sweet! Its my favorite track. You hit - skilled as you are - a certain string inside myself.
