Yeah, there’s a slight retro feel to this, but nothing wrong with that. There was a lot of great electronic music in that era, and this captures a lot of what was right with it - lots of room to breathe for the vocal, but lots of pulsing rhythms, deep guitars, gated drums, and tempo-driven filters. It builds a mysterious alternative dance club feel… what you might find on a Saturday night at the Bronze in Sunnydale.

Nasty cool retro! Your backing track emphases this egocentric attitude of these days. The synthies are of this certain analog bite getting the feets moved and the heads cool shaked (one eye covered with your nicely parted front hairs)

I like this. It made me think of The Breeders “Cannonball” video… though after just revisiting that song, I’m not sure why. :) Nevertheless, I enjoyed listening to your piece multiple times.

This was fun. I don’t think it 80’s retro at all and in these post-modern times decade-references are becoming truly uninteresting. This track could have been made last week. And maybe it was… I like it

Hey, Per, glad you found some time for listening and commenting.
Indeed, this song was created about three weeks ago. Probably because of use many of Puremagnetik Retro Synths vsts (Gifted by Ableton some weeks ago) I had this on my mind.
Great, you recognize somethings modern.
