I’m loving the fact your loving the track. It feels damn good to know I’m not vibing all alone in the dark. I definitely appreciate the generousity in the posts!!!! We all have our niches, though.

are you kdding? just in case that wasn’t faux modesty: you made my day (and a half) with this one. It’s been looping pretty much since you posted it and I smile every time I hear it.

Peace man, you’re bringing love to the world.

Faux modesty!! I’ll be using that one for sure. Seriously though, it probably shouldn’t matter as much as it does to me about how my music is received, but I have to know because thats a big part of my self-critiquing barometer. Its just too easy to fool myself into being satisfied with my own mediocrity. I learned a long time ago to take in the bad even more than the good, but the good is always welcome :)

This is like artful food, delicate, nutritious, appealing, and painstakingly prepared, despite the fact that you’ll be hungry again in three hours.
Great to hear ‘product’ from an obviously talented producer, it shows….
I’ve been a fan of Lisa’s voice for a while, but to hear it like this is so cool, nice job

I’m glad you like it. I probably downloaded her pella over a month ago, but wasn’t quite sure what to do with it until now. Out of nowhere it really came together pretty quick once I got the loop points on the vox together. Its funny how that works.

hey man… that’s a sweet flute solo in there. It almost sounds like it’s a sample or a live recording. Did you record a flute player in that? At some parts it sounds like it could be just a sampler playing it.. but that intro run is very natural. Good mix man.

Good ear!!! The intro run is a sample from the Abstract Hip Hop cd. The rest is played out.

I am so, so, so glad you like!!!! I wondered about how you would feel once you heard it. Its definitely 180 degrees from what you do, so I feel a relief in that respect. I think the biggest "pro" to this site has been the open mind sets of the mixters and reviewers.
