Modernistic and really great. I am not surprised that Speck is wordless:)

I really admire grayhartgray and you have given me the pleasure of hearing this pell in a completely new way. It’s extraordinary - there’s an icy, new-classic edge to this but also a warm, Christmas carol element. As usual, done with great skill and originality.

The more I hear of your works the more I am convinced that there is a parallel world to the one I sit here and write this review!
Some might have a key or a gate to go there and I would bet a lot of money you are one of those! A mix out of this world |

I’ll be the odd man out and say that the vocals bring this track down. The backing track is incredible, but to my ears the vocals don’t really fit - rhythmically or harmonically.
Which is a shame and a half, because your instrumentals are strong enough to stand on their own. You could literally have included a single drum sound from someone else to make it a remix, and it would be one of the best things I’ve heard all year. |

well, you may have a point there, anyway, this may be the reason why it was sitting in the ‘infinished’ folder for so long. when i looked at it again it seemed good -it’s still good methinks, too good to be unpublished, but i uploaded the backing track so you can enjoy. i do, more often than not, miss the point where i could say, it’s done now and ready. i’ll learn that too, over time

Hey. I was really surprised to see you come back to this track. Personally, I’m glad you did, because it’s really quite good - and better now that the musical ideas stand out more and each get room to shine.
You’re a good kid, AB. Keep doing the thing you do. |

well you see, i put the backing track on soundcloud - listening to that i realised all in sudden how right you were, so thanks again for the advice.
