“people are strange”, Admiral. Has a cool jazzy blues Doors feel. Very nice!

Sent ElRon XChile, texasradio guitar, the link to this song. This remix deserves some study and discussion.

I agree with Speck. You have an excellent feel and touch for this. Terrific restraint. Just right.

Thanks. Yeah, me too. I have to force myself to shut it off sometimes. :)

Great mix, I am quickly becoming a fan. The technical side of me is coming out a little. I would throw a limiter or compressor on the sub-bass area of the spectrum to control the bass a little better. Everything else sounds great!

I usually use a multi-band compressor, but deliberately abstained from it on this one, to ensure it kept an authentic feel, since DRC wasn’t used the same as today. :)

alluring backing music - a seemingly soft song with a tough message.
very good stuff.

This one has an excellent vibe. A bit of a late-night live feeling. Yeah, this should be played late saturday night, after a couple of glasses of Portugese red wine. But in the end it works on each moment of every day.

oh, love the walking bass line and Manzarek style organ. the open space in the middle would be SO fun to do LIVE!!!! as always, your guitar solo is excellent. nice combination with Little Soldier - very cool and clever. love the harmonica as well. where are you located? is it time for a ccMixter conference/jam somewhere???

this is awesome!!!!

This is first class, AB, and I agree with Snowflake that the space in the middle is inspired. It kind of refocuses the listener and steps up the mood. But the whole track, and Emily of course, is brilliant. xxxx

Nice slinky mix Bob.

I cant help but feel to my ears though the vocals are completely out of sync.

No matter though :-)
