First off, I dont understand this statement:

“I know it was uploaded for a different purpose…”

What different purpose was that? I thought everything on the sight was uploaded to be remixed, right? Im really kind of curious about what you meant by your statement. ?????

That being said, I like the jazzy funk of this. It has a very nice groove and I like feel of it. However, the way you started it, I kept waiting for hand claps or something because the transition from the a cappella to the first first felt a bit awkward. Regardless, well done, SuperslyX!

I read that you were after a backing track for a show.I understood that you were looking for a pro to create something for commercial use.Me on the other hand I just felt the good vibes in your pella and did it for the joy of the whole process and because I caught myself humming the chorus while walking on the street and the rest just followed naturally. Excuse me for the misunderstanding. I ll see to it to put some claps in the intro.

SuperslyX, I think you missunderstod me. The first and most important point of uploading anything to CCMixter is to try and create something new out of it. Anything else after that is just gravy!!!! About the claps, thats if you want to do that. I didnt create the mix, you did! I just had an opinion. If you agree, then good. If you dont, then follow your Muse! Its a funky piece of work!

This is something special! I love that you use classic funk elements in your mixes, and of course, Songboy makes anything sound amazing. Enjoyed tremendously! And I encourage you to upload the musical stems because there are lots of great things happening in there that would be wonderful to play with!

The “stems” are the various musical tracks that make up your mix — the percussion, the bass, the wah wah guitar, etc. Other mixers then have the opportunity to flavor their mixes with your fabulous bits. When you upload the “stems” you keep the music circulating and the sharing spirit of ccMixter going!

Love the idea, especially the chorus… I might want to adjust the levels a little, but always happy to hear another remixer who likes to bring the live funk to a pella!

Super slick. Brilliantly executed and deserving of a lot more attention that its getting currently.

I think SongBoys pipes are just perfect for this funky energetic music.

Just great
