Solid production on this, particulary the creative use of the samples and the way they don’t stand out over everything. A nice blend of keeping the original feel to it and bringing something new to the table.

yea, this is almost radio ready that’s fursure. And that snare is tight.

I think you handled the break at 2:15 better than just about anybody on the site.

A tiny nit is that on my speakers I could have used the vocals up just a tad and the synth rolled back.

Very nice. I love strings melody,it is so catchy;-) I agree with Victor about vocals, besides this excellent mix. And if you record drum samples you should think about uploading some “drum sample pack” here - coz good samples are always welcome on ccmixter

Uh, I’m certainly no expert, but…. do you know what a downbeat is?

That’s where the beginning of the measure starts, and snares are on two and four, you were at least one beat off for the choruses. That’s a big big….no no.

This sounds very nice, but, I don’t have any clue how you got a 5 for this… can someone enlighten?

Definitely reppin that northern euro hip hop flavor here…lovely.
The vocals were accentuated nicely by your beat structure. They could use some dynamics processing to bring them out in the mix though. Musically this track is one of the best I’ve heard so far.
