Thanks Jeris — the music completely inspired me. And believe it or not, but I can hear even more harmonic opportunity… . It was such a treat to work on this track hearing your awesome samples in the cans too. So thank you for starting this ball rolling!

Thanks so much. I love that you made the dream analogy. I have been working very intensely with dream material lately, and am finding dreams to be an infinite well of imagery and inspiration.

I am actually in the misdst of composing music for a play based entirely on dream material, using primarily open source samples from ccmixter and freesound… .among our scheduled performances, is a trip to the international dream conference in June to present our performance. Once that is done, I look forward to sharing the music here as it includes source material from many ccmixter artists. I am literally immersed in the world of dream right now… .

Thank you very much Ciggi — it is always so nice to hear from you. Things have been so hectic lately that it’s been hard to find the time and space to be around ccM much. I truly appreciate your kind words.

Woooo… (I’m ooo-ing and ahhh-ing here). This is wonderful, Susan. All those harmonies you do… they continue to blow my mind. Lyrically- also wonderful. Love the dream theme… Now I must go visit copperhead…

Thanks so much Kara. I’ve been completely immersed in the world of dream lately as I work on a play based on dream material and dream work. It’s amazing how some focused analysis of what goes on in our dreams can provide so much inspiration for our daily activities, including music making.

Right on. I totally agree… about dreams being fascinating and inspiring. Your project seems incredible, btw. I actually wrote a song inspired by a dream for my band recently (I’ll post it here when we release it).

Yeah — it’s really cool. It has been ongoing — we did performances last year and are gearing up for the next part in June, including a performance at the international dream conference. I rely heavily on ccM and freesound source material for the music.

I look forward to hearing your song — given your great way of spinning a yarn, I am sure it is something else altogether! (Wasn’t your alien song also based on dream?)

Thank ya’. Yup- more of a nightmare though. It was one of those things that even felt weird to record… Deep seeded issues there, eh? ;)

I’m really enjoying taking this in. There’s a lot went into this, as evidenced by the .zips lists, and I’d say it was definitely time well spent. And I’m definitely downloading.

By the way - have you tried lucid dreaming yet? Haven’t done it in years but I was getting pretty good at it there for a while.
