Oh what joy. Lovin’ the harmony and the annunciation. A wonderful upload.

A perfection of harmonies and a perfectly lovely aural treat to find on the first day of December. xxxx

This is a song with a lot of odd timing - we have Thanksgiving in October, so we would not want sleighbells then. Then in December, people would be lying on the couch going, “Ohhhhhhh…. I ate too much.”

It should be a February song. The Sun’s back out, and the lakes are frozen over.

The harmonies on this are great, and I can practically hear the sleigh bells and see the breath off the horse steaming up into the cold.

Thanks Admiral. We actually just celebrated Thanksgiving in the states last week. It’s my favorite holiday even though I cook for a gazillion people (although I do overcook which means I have not had to cook at all this week — and for some reason, the leftovers have not yet become tiresome). Thanks for the lovely comments.

Perfect. You’re so talented. To be honest I’m allergic to Christmas songs because they play them constantly in department stores from mid october and onwards. This fantastic vocal treat is an exception that sends pleasant shivers down the spine.

You’re so sweet! I try to stay away from department stores during the holiday season because I know how horrible mall music can be. I am delighted you enjoyed this little ditty. I intended for it to be fun.

Thanks Kara. I love learning about the “classics.” I often find there is some twist to the story I never knew before. It pleased me to no end to learn that jingle bells is actually a thanksgiving song — who would have known, right?!
