This song brings back memories of work by Coil and (less commercial) KLF. I really dig getting lost in the speakers thoughts (I like the rain too).

The whole thing is arranged well, but I wonder if some more attention to mixing detail might benefit it. Also, the sound just suddenly stops at the end of the song where I would expect the trail to fade out more gradually or gently. It is a small detail for sure, as the piece is solid and interesting throughout.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback! I always have a hard time ending my pieces. :-P But point well taken.

In terms of more attention to mixing detail, do you have any particular feedback or suggestions you’d be willing to share? I’m always glad to get suggestions.

And thank you for the Coil compliment! If you like that type of sound, you might want to check out this track, as it was also compared to Coil.

wow! i really like it, porch! especially the rhythm. sounds like something big is chasing you, something hard to explain is rolling right behind your back asking to worship the storm and stop being afraid…
