I have all your vocals downloaded, and was just looking for the right setting. I have also listened to your all your Soundcloud mixes. You have some brilliant tunes and really well produced.

Thanks man that is very high praise! I actually have started up a small non profit record label in Sydney called Surveillance Party, which is making some headway over here. One of my goals for this year was to convince all the vocalists on the label to start participating in this site, but so far I haven’t been able to persuade a single one.

I think I am running up against a “whats in it for me?” block, which the answer to that you would think would be self evident for them but it seems not.

Well I could write a 1000 words here about why people are fearful or reluctant to be part of this site but I will reply in a way that maybe you could show them this.

So I don’t know who you are or what you have done but since working with your voice I have played not only the mixes I have done to a lot of people personally, but also been to your Soundcloud page, You Tube site and been to your website, something I would never have done if you were not on here.

Ultimately what you have gained from me is my Respect.

Respect for sharing your work in a way that gives me the ability to enjoy working creatively with it, without question, and so I thank you. Respect as a co musician in your choice to bravely upload a raw vocal acapella and face public criticism either way, over the sound you make which is most personal to you.
Respect for being fearless in a world where everyone will try to rip you off and yet still not fear the `available for download’ button.
Respect for being an individual who whilst maybe not looking directly for financial gain has, by freely sharing here, a much better chance of that happening than those who do not, because now you have me and so many others who are the self appointed agents of all of your work.
Respect for knowing that the creative process is one of exploration, not single mindedness and that the collective minds and avenues of a site like CC Mixter opens insight and unknown pathways to your own musical progression and that development and that progression is not open to those who only ask why you would want to be a part of it.
Respect simply because you have the vision to at least try instead of just question.
And Respect for you in knowing that the songs you have shared are not the total limit or boundary of your creativity and should the worst happen and someone profit illegally from them, that you have the capacity, brain power and talent to just go write another, knowing confidently that in their cowardly theft, they will never be able to do so and that is your power.

The bottom line is there are thousands of singers I have never heard of , never will and so not interested in them.

But thanks to you and CC Mixter I have heard you and I am interested. Respect

A loop from your track runs thru the whole mix with the beginning repeated over it separately when needed. Then there are three loops out of your Mix pack and anew drum loop underneath built from bits of others. I will upload them when I can so you can hear how they changed. :-)

i am no longer afraid, but empowered, listening to this magnificent production. hearing the opening from Vidian/Dimitri reminds me of my first Secret Mixter ever (it was my first remix too so it is wonderful to come full circle in this moment so many years later). thank you for helping us discover this incredible vocal by Haptic - your treatment is rather amazing. i love the drum pattern. what sound is that lovely, high melody? of course, arrangement is one of your gifts and it is stellar here. this mix reminds me a bit of Bryan Ferry. a perfect, long fade at the end. yes, this is radio worthy and should be on the radio.

I never listen to your remixes until I complete mine for fear of imprinting. You are a wonderful contagion. Love this!!!

Beautifully crafted. The way you set the vocal in the mix is perfect. How do you do that? (And in the background, Haskel chimes in that he likes it too.)

This is a gud ‘un :-). I first started playing it the other day through the laptop speakers and (sorry about this) dropped it after a minute or two as it wasn’t connecting with me. Tonight, I was sifting through stuff on my desk and slipped the headphones on to give it another chance. Glad I did. Very rich palette of colors, wonderful setting for the vocals and lyrics. The violin bits are luscious. That avatar is driving me crazy though…
