Experimental prog-rock, done with all your usual flair. Thanks for including me.

Thank you, unreal_dm. I did try, but I’m having some technical difficulties out here. Glad you still enjoyed it. Nice to have you on the drum throne on one of my mixes :)

A great tune. The drums, which are pretty good btw, are a bit too loud in the mix for these ears, especially when compared to the distorted bass(?). But maybe it’s time for them to get their annual (long overdue by now) cleansing. ;-)

You might be quite right. I’m working as Spock would say, “With Stone-knives and Bear-skins”. My primary computer bit the dust, and I can’t tell up from down. I am unable to change the mix as the recording lies on the other dead computer. Sorry :(

I can hear it now, and can here where the problem lies. The tom-hits have too much bass. Hmmm… I may try to do something with it over hear, but mind you, I’ve only the Mp3.

Bloody Hell….. I can’t spell, I can’t mix. I’m embarrassed.

No need to be embarrassed, at least not about the mixing. The spelling on the other hand…;-)

One thing I often notice is that people put the sources of others more prominently in the mix while being too modest with their own contributions. And ofcourse, after a while we often are unable to hear if things are sounding right ot not, because we have lived with them for some time.

Sorry to hear about your technical difficulties. Those can be very frustrating at times.

If we are on the Spock theme “Computers make excellent and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them”

One of the things I like about your work is that it sounds “real”

Sometimes we can have too much “perfection” - so much so that its not perfect any more

I like the mix as it is

I may be stuck on computer-B, But I’m sufficiently pissed to write a real blaster to show my true metal.

Sounded good to me. Mix and all. BTW, I’ve been wondering lately… what do the “babies” refer to? Your guitars? I used to think they were your drum sets or something. Or maybe it’s something else altogether.

Thanks for the favorable review, Ivan. The Babies refer to my imaginary band. I see them as small rascals. I actually play all the instruments, except where noted. I find it humorous to endue them with their own personalities. When I review one of my remixes before upload, I actually close my eyes and imagine lil’ babies playing their respective instruments. They are, in other words, my backup band. I just conduct and add vocals.
