I love what you did here — makes me feel like we were just hanging out together and jamming in the garden! Thanks so much for picking up this pell and mixing it up so splendidly!

A clean and effective, stylish and classy acoustic arrangement that should make
any American folk singer envious.
Love it!

Outstanding job with the acoustic guitar work. And of course, the mixing is superb to my ears. Very clean mix. Thanks for this mix.

What a great setting for Sack’s strong and passionate pell. Perfect listening for sunny Saturday morning in the UK! xxxx

Thank you Ciggi. I did this one acoustic to keep the great acoustic sense in the Sack’s pella, it’s not only strong, was perfectly recorded too.

It sounds like you knew exactly what you wanted to do and you did it exactly. Such excellent guitar playing and very well recorded. On first listen I thought maybe the vocals could use more presence but on second I thought no, that’s just how it would be live, the guitar naturally having more resonance than the voice. And I had no trouble distinguishing the lyrics. So - well done.

Thankyou, and yes I did almost exactly what I wanted. I had the same problem with the presence of the vocals, I tried to bring balance to the track but keeping little shinny elements around. It´s hard, anyway this track was made for speakers listening, changes a lot in headphones.

I wanted to write a comment exactly like Speck, he did before so I just add one to his remarks. Next year, 2011, you’ll have uploaded so many other remixes and you’ll be far more detached from this one: is there a chance that you give away your guitar work to the ccmixter community then?

Cheers

Thank you carosone. I will be uploading more songs with time. Lately I don’t have the time I want to do remixes but I love doing this.

Thanks CH. I always try to glue the pellas and the music together, timming, pitch, etc..
