Most people have not seen the northern lights. I have, and let me tell you - this song captures it very closely.

Musically you’ve captured the ancient shimmer of a frozen sky, the way the lights dance in the cold dark across the stars, lazily flashing about all night until the wee hours of the morning.

The cello weaving in and out of Gurdonark’s pads, the mournful voices, chimes, and the other distant and fleeting noises in the song are very haunting.

Wow! What an intensely evocative soundscape you created. I could feel the chill of the arctic sea and the see the lights’ crystalline reflections. Absolutely wonderful. (And I am listening on the crappy speaker of my work computer — I couldn’t wait to listen after reading Admiral Bob’s raving review!)

Listening again. I see narwals and sweeping color against the night sky. This is really wondeful! Bravo to you and Anchor.

Cherry - I love when you use your alternative Alto voice, even though you say it is jettisoning you into the ”Bogart-Bacall” syndrome.
Nice work on the ethereal vox!

Holy Moses!
What a truly beautiful and mystic message from the north.
The delicate quiet dialogue between Anchor’s cello, your voice and Gurdonark’s pads is wonderful!

Winter conjures up so many images:
wolves, the stars in Orion’s belt,
crisp stillness, northern lights,
foraging, deep dreams, imagined notions, unremembered ideas.
This mix captures all of those things—and more. Nicely done.
