A true hot funky remix! The strings remind me to a style that I know as “Philly Sound”.
Great track

I didn’t know “Philly sound”, but it must be related to ‘70 disco, R’n’B and funky I’m discovering now through Rufus and others.
Thanks for the link, I’m just now listening to “I love music” (O’Jays, 1975)

Love that Nile Rodgers vibe there!

Nile Rodgers is a big one to me since I read an interview on Sound on Sound and I understood he was behind a lot of music I loved in my early youth. Today I have other interests (Bali, India) yet I consider this age as a lucky period for exercising ourselves in replicating the sound of the great people of the past, including what we liked so much.

Well, that was the most enjoyable song about a gigolo I’ve ever heard! Really fun remix, Carosone!

I got back to listening this after the cdk remix as well as you. This is a funny little piece, cdk’s remix has injected into it more punch and a more robust sound
