Thank you for your great music!
And sorry for mixing your guitars a bit too deep, just wanted to give it a little different feel.
Thanks!!!

yeah, it do indeed. i was going for that ‘recorded in a school gym’ at first. i’ve adjusted the source track, too, since a lot of people have asked me to please not do that again.

We have and still listen to songs we recorded 40 years ago in a school gymnasium. The slap back brings back memories. If they were’t cover songs, we have to remix ‘em ‘:0)

Excellent dynamic sound. You’ve really brought out the best from the source material. At first I feared it would turn out to be a ZZ Top track but this is so much better, fresher and crispier.

Like the roadhouse music, Alex

… with cement floors and metal roof!

Thanks TRF!
And about cement floor and metal roof… ;) Well, I’ve tried to remove the reverb, and it actually worked, but it sounded kind of dull afterall. Didn’t want to bother Panu by asking for a dry version and just had to leave it as is.
Thanks for the feedback!

that’s my fault. i dialed in ‘metal roof’ & ‘cement floor’ on the master, instead of ‘melt your jeans/crunchy goodness’. i’m old, i mess up!!!

We still have plenty of clubs, bars, grills and ice houses with cement floors, metal roofs and walls made of cinder block, brick or garage doors.

For authenticity, you are required to master accordingly.

When you back up your truck to those all so convenient garage doors behind the ice house stage, the cement floor and metal roof seem less important ‘:0)

I’ve got here at last! And I’m so glad I did because this gives me chills up and down the spine it’s so good. Yep - it’s chills even though it’s sizzling hot!! Fantastic mix, A.

Well, I’m very glad you liked this version, although I did really very little… Just had a great material to work with! And we all know that when Panu teams up with Mr.DM, it’s always good!
Thanks for your kind words Ciggi!!!!
