What I like about this site is the way one piece of music will beget another, which begets another, etc. I heard this yesterday and was immediately inspired to use it to begin another, which I just finished. So thanks for the experimentation and opening possibilities.

Well great Speck, can’t wait to hear it. I’m still completely captured by the story told in your recent ‘smile’!!!

I agree with Speck. You never know what anything will lead to.

Thanks for sharing this one - not necessarily because I’ll listen to it over and over, but because it gives me ideas. And I like ideas. :)

:) no, who would like to listen to it for more then once (actually, I do… but that’s my limitation ;-) Thank you for the comment Colab! Sometimes it’s not the music that is shared, I very much agree on that. If you like to I invite you to see the context in which this piece is or was ‘perceived’. I tried to track-back the video to it, but ccMixter wouldn’t accept it - and I do not dare to ask why. AIR_LOMEG are no musicians, we’re filmmakers, …but we have become more and more conscious about the cinematic qualities of sound and how sound can move images - also without images being visually provided. This is in many ways an experiment on our own readings (both while we make films but also how we look upon the films when we view them…). Here’s the link to an excerpt/trailer of a 40 minutes experimental documentary where we used n’cold as soundtrack (the sound does not kick in before approx 40 seconds): http://lomeg-rom.blogspot.c...

Cheers, b.k.
