As a child my Father had taken me on a busines trip to India. Bombay to be precise. Unbeknowns to me it had become quite the fashion in the more select areas to have a Western child as a houseboy and my Father had decided to broaden my horizons and make a little money in the process. My Mother had agreed as Father had promised to buy her a real tigerskin coat whilst he was out there.
The deal however fell through and my Father reluctantly took me back with him. Mother cried so much when she saw me. Not for my safe return but for the loss of her fur coat.
