I am greatly sadden by news of Fireproof Babie’s passing. He was such a vibrant human force at ccmixter. An encouraging friend, generous collaborator, and creative soul.

FB, OldDog and I worked on a collaboration a long time back. It was one of the most rewarding musical experiences I have ever had. FB spun me a yarn and the resulting song was called Forever in My Heart. It’s sweet, sad and a little nostalgic. For some reason the raw vocals were lost in the collaboration feature.

I thought it might be appropriate to re-post it.

FB, you will be greatly missed.
