Hello everyone,

yet again some idiot is running a scam where they send you email claiming to be in trouble etc. etc.

The interesting part is that the subject for the email is titled ‘[ccmixter]Urgent response’. For comedy purposes I thought I’d email back and ask why they put this as the subject line. The woman said that aparently she was in such a state of shock that it was a mistake!?
What are the chances?

But not only that, she also attached a picture of her supposed passport with a pretty poor attempt at a drawn on stamp. Even without zooming in you can clearly see the pixelated outline.

I mean seriously, how stupid do these people think we are?
