I don’t know how many of you are familiar with lo-fi stuff, but anyway, I just post this to tell you about a call for contribution for an album that we set up last week.
By “we”, I mean Dataglitch, a small indie label promoting circuit bending and chipmusic.

The thema is “robot masters” (this term comes from mega man game series).
We’re wanting artists to submit a robot’s name, a pixel art drawing of it (100x100 px), and a song associated with it.
The music should contain only bent toys sounds and 8bit sounds (or less ;)).

What a great idea! Sounds fun.

Funny thing is, I just found some old cassettes of chip-tunes I did as a 19 year old on my c64! Three part SID goodness :)

Maybe I should sample and submit one of those, lol :D
