Funkalishious! I love the way that bass came in and kept me grooving all the way through. It felt like a live setting!

My 12th grade Social Studies Seminar teacher used to tell the story of how, when he was in school, he used to pick up Booker T, a fellow student, to get him to class. I don’t remember the gist of the story before, but I always have that image of a junior high Booker T, horn in hand, going from class to class.
Here you’ve got me thinking of Booker T, Stax and the sheer exuberance of Saturday night. A very fun remix. |

Cool retro horn funk, Wellman. Like a 1970s Isaac Hayes film score.
