Really great! I heard/saw a “hang” drum for the first time last year — some enigmatic young guy playing in the street — it really impressed me. I checked these “hangs” online and discovered that they are (to me) quite expensive and also difficult to obtain outside of Switzerland. Anyway, this is a lovely recording — many thanks for sharing. May try to record some guitar with this.

good morning javo,
thanks! ;-) btw. this is not an original from switzerland (they have a complex way for selling their hangs). now, there are lot of alternative manufacors, some are mentioned at http://www.handpan.org/forum/ i got mine from a german team: http://www.caisa-music.com/... but yes, most of them are realy expensive. it took ~ two years of arguing with myself to beconvinced that i realy need one. but i have to say, itsabsolutley worth it. it such an relaxing instrument, that pushes you into an “flow” state. i guess its the combination of the sound and the vibrations going to your body when played on your lap. yours tigabeatz |

Yes I can well imagine the therapeutic effects — the guy I saw playing the street looked well chilled! I tried playing along with this but hit a problem in that, even when tuned to “standard” pitch (using a digital tuner) I can’t get perfectly in tune with you. I tried tuning by ear but for some reason that didn’t work either. Now I’m wondering if there’s something about the “tonality” of the percussion. I even tuned to an open G Minor and that was actually worse! Anyway, the track is cool enough to stand alone. Thanks again and with best wishes.
