great stuff sub! I’m gonna add a guitar solo to this, i just can’t resist this slow bluesy stuff…
beautiful arrangement and chord progressions, gives me goose bumps. Excellent work too from Calling Sister Midnight, Snowflake & Ruggea of course :)

Well, all the excellent work is from the ones mentioned. I have only put the parts together.

Anyway, I have uploaded a new version with your equally excellent solo. Thanks for that!

thanks sub! Though in all honesty I must say I now miss the ‘spoken word’ part a little, because it adds so much to the atmosphere of the whole track (as pointed out by Speck and Fireproof Babies)

You’ve been an inspiration for me the last weeks and this is another great example. Beautifull!

I can’t make out more than half of the spoken word but the mood matches the music and the music is really beautiful.

Thank you very much. I replaced most of the spoken word piece with a great guitar solo by my pal Edwin van Buuringen.

Nice. CSM’s vocal seems to shine more now too.

I have increased the level on the CSM vocal track, because I thought that it was a bit too much buried in the mix.

I’m with Speck on this one. Can’t discern the words so much, but that’s not the point. The song is beautiful with mystery. Very nice combination :)

Thank you, Joe. As already mentioned, the spoken word piece is for a large part replaced by a guitar solo.

He he he, nice. I wasn’t going for Floyd, but I like them very much, so I take it as a big compliment. It’s probably the combination of guitar and vocals.

Very nice! I didn’t listen to the previous version, but I love this, from the start to the end.

In my very own very humble opinion this version is better, but maybe I am going to combine both by putting Ruggea’s complete spoken word piece back. Thanks for listening and commenting.

Thank you, Susan. Every now and then the pieces seem to fit together and this time even fairly quickly.

Sorry, I’m late… Remixing yourself immediately - that’s cool! Heard both versions and like the sparse arrangement of the orig version a bit more (just a bit)

Thanks! I was unsure if I should remove the original version or not. But I guess that it has enough character of its own to justify its presence.

Thank you very much. Your piano track worked pretty good with the vocals, so sometimes you have to be a bit lucky with bumping into the right combination of source material.

This takes me to a full place, deeply centered, somewhere in what I imagine to be the Bad Lands of SD.
