You changed the melody to the better! I really found me in this arrangement/melody! thanks for the brilliant soul you added to this

.
The soul is actually in your voice. I only changed it to fit the changes to the piano track. So thank you.

You’ve transformed the piano into a minor key melody, and I can’t even figure out how you did that. :)
Overall, it sounds really good: the instrumentation (particularly the flute and djembe) is really nice, and provides a melancholy but sweet accompaniment to maajonic. |
.
Thanks! Also thanks for including the midi track, which made the transformation pretty easy.

No deep tech house, no key of A and wrong bpm, you go your own way and do so with head held high. The engineering is magnificent and the delicate and sensitive arranging outstanding. What a gem.

Thank you very much, Per. I am not good at consciously (no pun intended) emulating a certain style. I can only do myself…musically that is…;-)

Beautiful. Maajonic has an inherently engaging and emotional voice, that you emphasized with the music. Bravo!

He has a great voice, hasn’t he? That was what I thought when I first heard it. But after that I kinda forgot about it, until I was looking for pellas for Ishtar. In the end I went for Ciggi’s pella and I still think that it was the best fit for that particular song, but I kept his pellas (also Pray, which I used for Will I Be Lost?) to use for something else, like this one.
Thanks for you continuing support. |

Exotic and steeped in passion. It’s lovely, Sub. xxxx

Thank you, Ciggi. Much was down to Maajonic’s excellent pella and the Admiral’s very fine piano playing.

this takes me to broadway - vocals remind me of Rent, with live percussion and pianist, and Subliminal, Wizard of Sound, mixing it all together - a technological Tommy!
