Well hello stranger, nice to have you back!. Wow what a production you offer up here. Very spacial, very intense and very cool. Especially appreciate the balance between the background industrialized effects and percussion. A sound production with a new edge almost… your time away has certainly boosted your creativity. Nice to have you back .

Thanks Scott. Well, I don’t know if my time away has boosted my creativity, because it certainly doesn’t feel that way. But sometimes the pieces of the puzzle fit together even better than initially anticipated. I put that down to chance.

Intense in the best possible way. The soundscape you created is eerie and intriguing, reaching deep. I am so very pleased to find myself in such a creative setting! I sure hope you plan on sticking around!

It all starts with the high quality source material. And I don’t say that to be nice, but because I really mean it. It is a big source of inspiration. So thanks for that.

Great stuff Sub! I’d heard so many of these recently, but I’ve had a bit of a break to clean my palette, so your take sounds fresh and different. I’m going to have to go listen to all 3 together.

Thank you. I can imagine that people might have heard this spoken word piece remixed a lot already. Sometimes it’s a good thing that I am so awfully slow. ;-)

You are the Master of creating almost tangible atmospheres, Sub, and this piece is no exception. It is incredibly compelling and you have done the one thing I never thought I’d hear - you’ve made the lovely Ms SackJo sound a bit sinister! xxxx

I only revealed Susan’s sinister side, which, ofcourse, has always been there…;-) I cannot remember that anyone has called me a Master (with capital ‘M’) of anything, so many thanks for that. |

Insistent ambient (a new genre?). Very present. The white out vocals work really well. Excellent piece.

Thanks! “Insistent ambient”. I like the sound of that. Susan’s White Out vocals is what got this remix going, so I am glad you like it.

Wow - you turned SackJo into a ghost! Deep, disturbing, and frightening… in a good way!
|
.
I like a bit of disturbing and frightening. And even though it was not something I was going for intentionally, it’s good to read that people hear this when listening to the piece. Thanks for listening and the nice words.

Stunning with sci-fi radiance! A masterpiece.

It has a sci-fi vibe, hasn’t it? Thanks for the visit and the compliment.
On a sidenote, I have a slightly experimental piece which I am thinking to use as a backing track for one of your spoken word pieces. It will probably take me some time to get it working (you know how slow I am), but I hope it will do justice to your words. |
