I like this. Very much. This style of music helped shape part of my formative years - but your take is contemporary and evolutional.
It’s absolutely terrific. |

That was quick! Thanks for your kind words. It is very much appreciated, especially now things aren’t exactly going smoothly.

I keep coming back to listen to this as the first time i heard it i didnt know what to say.
Some years ago i stayed in an empty manor house deep in the Welsh country side where Charles 1st had taken refuge on several occasions during the English Civil War. I had to film all thru the night and the manor was full of ghosts. This would have made a fitting soundtrack not only for my stay but for the programme that was eventually made. |
.
Originally it was my attention to have more of a contrast between the two parts of the piece in terms of the dark feel of the music. I guess that this first part turned out a bit darker than it was supposed to be.
Thanks for coming back. It is good to read that it has an appeal beyond a one time visit. |

I was sent over here by the reviewer above me. My number one rule is always relay a compliment :-).
This is very good. Chock a block with atmosphere. Lots of technology but lots of humanity too. I especially appreciate the use of the stereo spectrum. I recently discovered how much more I appreciate movies if I watch them on my computer and listen to them on headphones. Thanks for making me glad I have two ears :-). Excellent work Sub. |
.
I guess I have to thank LS twice then.
I always try to do something extra in the stereo spectrum when the piece itself evolves pretty slowly, hoping that I can keep it somehow interesting for the innocent listener who stumbled upon it. Thanks for listening and reviewing. |

i’m kind of late getting to this and it’s sister track but i wanted to write a proper review when i could focus on it properly. love the mood you set with the rain and the haunting female vocals intro. and how you integrate what sounds like a reversed track but it feels like the quick passage of time, like sequences in flashback. just a really cool, wall of soundscape piece. love it.
