Cool direction you took with your remix! Such a different feel than the original Cold Ears, this is awesome!

HA! I love that you poached the ideas! Creative and entertaining mix. I’m picturing a “Yellow Submarine” movie styled marching band marching about with this… Thank you for the include!

As Starfrosh commented, this mix is a refreshing take on the stems. I appreciate your point of view as expressed through the music you make. Bravo!

Nice integration of stems. Just curious how much time you put in for this?

Maybe two or three hours? I don’t know if that’s a little or a lot but that’s what I usually spend to get the basic mix then I come back to it sporadically over the following days for tweaking. This one I didn’t do much, if any, tweaking after the initial mix. Once I made the drum track from twelve loops cut from your drumming everything else pretty much fell into place.

i wish i could jump inside your mind for a mixing session — your creativity always opens my mind to new ways of listening and creating. this is so delightful — the combination of uke, drums and the treated stems. and the parts with Kara’s vox. brilliant dude.
