Hi Speck and many thanks for a superb remix. I really enjoyed this — great soundscape, editing and arrangement. The track has a haunting, contemplative quality. Very grateful for your work on this!

Panu’s Ed. Pick commentary says it better than I could, reminds a bit of Ralph Towner somehow as well.

Its a bit of a journey this one and I had to reach for the travel pills a few times:)
Basically its an annoying track as it makes you listen even when you want to switch it off! Basically in a round about way what I’m trying to say is…. GREAT!! |

Remarkable soundscape.
Definitely a kind of film music. I already can see an old, ridged man sitting at a campfire somewhere at dry desert landscape in Mexico… |

Once again, I wish I was a film-maker because I would use this without hesitation. I really like the subtle build. It’s a remarkable track and definitely deserves its Ed Pick status.

This is my favourite speck. Incredible restraint in setting this up - the pacing is literally perfect. I am wildly in love with the structure of having the first two bars busy and then following it by two that ease up; and the way you introduce new things bit by bit is just right. It makes the journey from sparse/calm to dense/hectic seamless.
Nice nice nice. |
