I LOVE it!!!

Really love the message of the lyrics too. And I love how you broke down the parts instead of just throwing it all out there like I did…lol

I’ve been working with these same samples so it’s fun to hear what you’ve done with them here. I like it. I also very much like the ending with your vocals in ChuckBerglund’s music, that’s a nice match, not that the rest of it isn’t but that’s when my sensors involuntarily went ‘oooh, that’s nice’.

the Jeris samples are amazing eh? i mainly just cut a lot of them out, only included instruments in select places to highlight them in more of a solo fashion. some basic editing too, but mainly Jeris provided some pretty amazing stuff so it didn’t take a lot of treatment to sound great. sooo glad you like the ChuckBerglund ending. I tried starting with it and wrestled with it unsuccessfully for a while. the ending seemed to flow much more. i had a little difficulty with the transition but i felt his sample had to be in there! thanks so much for your review. :)

Thanks Jeris. I put a new mix up today. I wonder if it sounds better? :)

Love, love, love this! From beginning to end! Of course, you know I agree full-heartedly with the message… but what a joyful (and clear) way to spread it! Woooo! Between this and Jeris’ mushroom number, I’m way more merry today than this Grinch can handle… :)

you are adorable! the Grinch is soon to be holding hands in Whoville ;) glad you like it! it started a little more negative, about giving away your greed and silly need, but somehow it turned into something much more positive, with a similar message. thanks for your nice review - i’m merry too :)

Great track, wonderful sentiment. The “mall” came to the uk first in the early 80’s. I watched the one in my home city being built as a youth. It looked at first like it was going to be a cathedral. It wasn’t till it was finished that I realised it had nothing to do with the divine.

Interesting, to confuse a mall and a church. Sometimes, depending on the church, I don’t find much of a difference between either and their selling. That being said, I’ve experienced some pretty divine moments in churches (although my favorite church is nature!), but I’ve never had a divine experience in a mall — only temporary injections of purchasing adrenal rush that wear off quickly. Thanks for your review!

What a great feel in here — from the groove of the music to the lyric and your performance. Warms up my heart’s cockles for sure. Bravo my dear, bravo!
