Yeah, I like this too; don’t be afraid to get closer to the mic, idk what you’re recording with, but if you can get close w/o clipping/popping, don’t be shy, simon cowell’s not lying in wait..

wow, you guys are encouraging. I love this place. i’ll try to make up more stuff and record better. need to build a booth or something maybe. I have a million little song fragments from over the years. usually that’s as far as they get. i hope I can find homes for them,

to be honest the most useful thing would be a dry, close recording done to a click track or drum beat that you can hear in your headphones but is not recorded into the pell.
This is a good germ of an idea but you’ve made technically difficult to work with it. |

Here’s an on-line metronome you can use to accompany you as you sing:
http://www.metronomeonline.... This will make your song all happen on a consistent beat, so that the remixer can easily work with your track using the same “beats per minute”. Put your headphones on so that nobody can hear the clicks, and then sing into your mike along to the beat. It even lets you choose the bpm, which you can note when you upload the song. |
