This is an astonishing accomplishment. And I don’t even have words to describe it. Bravo.

Hey admiral, thanks for the flattering comment. While uploading this track, I was just thinking “If only I could sing like admiralbob”. Honest! :)

Maybe I don’t know what I am talking about, but to these ears your voice sounds pretty good. And a great song too.

What are the chances of you having a go at the lyrics? :) I am dead certain you’d make it sound much, much better.

Hi Ivan, this is great. Its got a great sixties / slightly psychedelic vibe . If this is why you were feeling so tired the other day it was well worth it!

This is fantastic. I listened to it earlier today and liked it straight away.

You’ve come up with a hell of a track here - The vocal work is excellent - really glad you finally decided to share a vocal recording.

Yeah - this is a great track. Nice job.

Quote: colabThe vocal work is excellent - really glad you finally decided to share a vocal recording. Haha, actually I’ve shared my vocals before in ccMixter :) I still get squeamish when listening to myself, though with this one I seem to have struck a right chord. Am surprised at the number of Recommends.

Anyway thanks for liking the song. I’m not just being humble when I say it was WillemWillem’s track that brought the vocals out. Kudos to him.

Agree with Colab. Great vocal recording and great harmony singing, sort of like psychedelic, British pop music à la XTC.
Very good!

Thank you! I’m beginning to realise what you all mean by the “psychedelic” part. Maybe it was the recording quality…

Nice vox Ivan, it sounds kinda Beatles-ish if that makes any sense!

The lyrics or the singing? Not surprised about the lyrics sounding a bit “Brit”. As for the vocals… well, I once recorded myself singing and playing the Beatles’ “Yesterday”. And I sounded like McCartney LOL

Good voice and good melody. goes hand in hand with the feeling of the music. The harmonies are cool.

You should sing more and if you dont have mics take care of the clipping and use what you have and upload the different takes.

Thanks for the compliments and positive vibes :) Appreciate it. Don’t have mics at the moment. Recorded it straight using my Macbook Pro’s microphone.

Aw, thanks man. And thanks for (re)discovering this piece. WillemWillem’s track deserves credit too, for the inspiration.
